We would like to welcome all the children back to school after the Christmas Break.

Parking
Again, we must ask that you please note the following important points:
• People may stop momentarily adjacent to the Bus parking area to drop off children.
• Please move as far up as possible on that stretch so that six or seven cars can drop off at the same time.
• For their safety, children should be dropped only on the school side of the road.
• Please do not stop on the roundabout.
• Please also note that parents are not permitted to park in the Staff Car Park when dropping or collecting children. If you are returning to the school to drop off forgotten lunches, schoolbags, etc., we would ask that you park in the bus stop area and enter via the Pedestrian Gate. (Please close gates after you leave)

Milk Scheme
The Milk Scheme is up and running in the school. We have had a number of queries about joining the scheme. The closing date for payment for this term (up to Easter Break) was 15 December 2006. Payment for next term will be due in March (details closer to the date). Newcomers to the scheme will be most welcome at that time.

Bóthar
Because the Bóthar organisation was so impressed with the school and the children when they visited last year, we were asked to participate in an educational video sponsored by the Department of Education & Science promoting the work of Bóthar. Filming took place this week with the Third Class Children who initially took part in the project. A copy of the video will be sent to the school at a later date. Congratulations to the children involved for their excellent participation and behaviour during filming.

School Calendars
School Calendars are still available at €5 each from the Main Office.
