Standardised Testing (Drumcondra Tests)

Children in 1st to 6th class take part in Drumcondra Tests in Reading, Spelling and Maths in May of each year.

We do not publish the dates in advance as we have found that it causes undue worry for children and parents.

There is no need for your child to “prepare” for these tests. Please reassure your child that the tests are nothing to worry about.

Stay Safe

Children in Senior Infants, Second Class, Fourth Class and Sixth Class will be covering ‘The Stay Safe Programme’ in the coming months.  The programme takes six to eight weeks to complete.  Children will receive homework every week and we would encourage parents to discuss this homework with their children as a vital part of the programme.  If you  have any questions about the programme please visit www.staysafe.ie.  We appreciate your continued support.

Aladdin Connect

If you haven’t already done so, we would urge all parents to download the Aladdin Connect App to their smartphone or tablet so that we can continue to communicate with all parents.

If your email address or phone number has changed since you returned your Re-Registration Form last April, please email info@stpatricksns.ie with the new details ASAP.
