St. Patrick’s NS will be participating in Active Schools Week from the 13th-17th of May. School Wildlife Garden (Partnership School’s Committee)

The new school wildlife garden is really coming together. It can be found outside the school gates to the left and right of car park. Thank you to all the families who have helped digging, weeding and planting so far. Mairéad Stack (parent and wildlife expert!) will be visiting all classes this month, to tell them more about the garden and why pollinators are good for our environment. An email was sent to all parents about our Wildlife Signage Competition on Monday, asking children’s help to design signs for the garden. Entries can be submitted to the box in the foyer on or before Tuesday May 14th.

Call for LEGO!!!

Anybody who has any old/spare Lego lying about their houses is asked to collect it up. We know lots of boys & girls in St Patrick's who could get endless learning and satisfaction from classroom activities using your excess Lego.  So bag up your Lego and leave it with the secretary in reception, for the attention of Mr O'Neill.

Choir

The school choir will perform their end of year concert with the adult choir, Ciúnas and featuring some of Mr. Heneghan's guitar group. It will be on Tuesday 21st May at 7:30pm in the school hall. All friends and family are welcome. It will be a low key concert. The children will not be in uniform. Look forward to seeing you there.
