Mid-Term Break
The school will be closed from Monday 11 to Friday 15 February inclusive for the Mid Term Break. It will reopen on Monday 18 February at 08.30am.
Junior Infants September 2008
pplications Forms for Enrolment for Junior Infants (September 2008) are now available in St Patrick's N.S. and St Mochta's N.S.
Registration will take place in both schools on the following dates:
Monday 18 February 10.00am - 12.00noon & 7.00pm-9.00pm
Tuesday 19 February 10.00am - 12.00noon
Wednesday 20 February 10.00am - 12.00noon.
If any of our present parents is making an application for a Junior Infant place for September 2008, please feel free to leave your application with the secretaries at 08.30m, 1.10pm and 2.10pm.

IPPN/NPC Survey
The Irish Primary Principles Network/National Parents Council a have organised a short survey to give Parents of Primary School Children an opportunity to offer their views on the issue of funding for Primary Education. The results of the survey will be made available publicly while the privacy of individual responses will be held in full confidence. Both organisations would recommend that you complete the survey which is available online at www.ippn.ie and www.npc.ie .

In-Service Training
There will be an In-Service Training Day for Teachers on Friday, 16 May 2008. There will therefore be no school for children on that day.

Extra Curricular Activities
Swimming
Please note there will be Swimming today, Friday 08 February. There will be no Swimming on Monday 11 February and Friday 22 February. Swimming will be taking place on Friday 15 February (during mid-term break week).

Downey Lanigan Academy of Irish Dance
Our Annual Féis (Irish Dancing Competition) took place last Sunday 03 February in the Setanta Hotel, Celbridge. Congratulations to all the children who participated and were awarded prizes. Keep up the good work.
